‘SNAKE NAGA’ FROM PRATIBA NANDAKUMAR

Reputed poet, journalist – a columnist in ‘Bangalore Mirror’ Pratiba Nandakumar is latest entry to the female directors fraternity. Recently another journalist JCK became director from ‘Kwatle’ Kannada cinema.

Very interesting lady with variety of thoughts Pratiba Nandakumar has picked the novel of Uma Rao ‘Havadiga’ and keeps the title ‘Snake Naga’for the film. It is debut for star couple of small screen Sihikahi Chandru and Sihikahi Geetha daughter ‘Hitha’ is heroine of this film. Dr Girish Karnad is also playing important role.

In the film snake charmer is popular hero Yogish alias Loose Madha. How the snake charmer is looked at when he comes to city from village is the crux of the film. There is comedy, thrill, action and emotion. It will be shot in25 days in Bangalore and Agumbe. Veera Samarth is scoring music for the fourth time in Yogaraj Bhat camp and there will be four songs in the film.

Gopalakrishna Kushtagi corporate company adviser is producing this film in Yogaraj Bhat Movies.

Jayanth Kaikini has penned lyrics for this film. A haphazard style of promo like how the snake moves attracted the media and guests at the media briefing in The Bell Hotel.
